Financial support

The Committee receives financial support from the following sources:

Japan Concrete Institute (JCI).  Since 1992, JCI allocated an annual budget of 0.6 million to 1.5 million for its local model code committee.  The money was mostly spent on ICCMC activities.   From April 1997 to March 1999 the following Japanese companies provided, through JCI, a total grant of 7 million yen:

Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT).  An annual grant of 3 million yen for 3 years (1994-1997) under the category of international cooperative research supported the activities of the Model Code Committee followed by a second 3-year grant for the period 1997-2000.

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Japan.  An annual grant of 1.5 million starting 2000 (subject to renewal at the end of each fiscal year)

Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.  An annual grant of approximately 4 million (subject to renewal at the end of each fiscal year)

Asian COncrete Federation co-sponsored the publication of ACMC 2006

Korea Concrete Institute (KCI), Korea.  Publication of ICCMC News, published twice a year, is handled by KCI.  The first issue was published in November 2000. Also co-sponsored the publication of ACMC 2001 and 2006

ICUS/INCEDE, University of Tokyo, Japan sponsored the publication of the Level 3 documents.  The first Level 3 document was published in July 2001.  Also co-sponsored the publication of ACMC 2001 and 2006

Engineering Institute of Thailand, Thailand co-sponsored the publication of ACMC 2001 issued in March 2001

Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus, Australia co-sponsored the publication of ACMC 2001 issued in March 2001

Hokkaido University, Japan co-sponsored the publication of ACMC 2001 issued in March 2001 and 2006

Respective organizations in member countries.   At each of the workshop, respective organizations in the host country and member countries have provided financial supports for hosting the events, and for individual international members to attend the meetings.
